Prophetic Insight - 14th July, 2025
Last night I was watching an interview with Eric Weinstein on the YouTube channel, The Diary of a CEO, the topic of which was the collapse of society.
Part way through, Weinstein spoke about an invitation to find meaning and beauty, which is everywhere, and it lead me to thinking about the deeper things of life.
As I pondered the core of what really matters, I was reminded of a beautiful piece of writing by Oriah Mountain Dreamer, called The Invitation, which calls us to explore the depths of our soul.
It is this search for meaning that makes life worth living, that calls us to a higher way, that beckons us into our personal destiny that is so easy to miss if we are not careful, present and ever seeking.
As we read this stunning piece, I invite you to drop into a deeper place of existence, realisation and heart-felt acknowledgment, as we journey towards wholeness, separately, yet together.
The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.
It doesn't interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain.
I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even when it is not pretty every day.
And if you can source your own life from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, 'Yes.'
It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up night after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.
It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
Man's Search For Meaning
As I feel into the space in between the space that The Invitation offers, I am humbled yet curious, tentative yet provoked, silenced yet empowered.
I wonder how I've spent my time and how much of it I wasted on meaningless activity when I could have been creating, building and really making a difference.
I think about the missed opportunities, regrets, guilt, shame, the could've, would've and should've's, but didn't, and I recoil in discomfort, sadness and sympathy for myself and also others.
I remember a book I once read called Man's Search For Meaning by Victor Frankl, a Neurologist, Psychiatrist and Holocaust Survivor who chronicled his experiences as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps during World War II, and I am inspired.
Frankl delved into existential questions about life, suffering and the human spirit, emphasising the human drive to find meaning, especially in the face of suffering, requiring us to actively participate through inquiry, creative intelligence and wisdom.
Everything Matters
Frankl demonstrated the link between people's health and their sense of meaning, observing that those who found meaning were more likely to survive.
In a world where everything matters, we must choose where and how to focus our time, energy and resources, in order to achieve the maximum impact and squeeze the most out of life.
Meaning and beauty is everywhere, if we but know where and how to look, and if we position ourselves to see, feel, hear, touch, smell and taste it, not forgetting the sixth sense of intuiting and I would add a seventh of receiving spiritual revelation.
There is no meaning to be found in things and external pleasure is fleeting; in order to be whole, it's important that we each find our own unique path to fulfilment, where paradoxically, we must give in order to receive.
It doesn't matter how you find your true north, it only matters that you find it, so that you can say a loud resounding YES to life, standing for what's important and finding your passion, power and purpose.
Created & Called
The bible says that God knew us before He formed us in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5) and that He created our inmost being and knit us together in our mother's womb. (Psalm 139:13)
There is so much that we don't know and are missing and missing out on, it's important that we catch the moments that ever so subtly offer us opportunities of limitless joy.
There are no ordinary moments, every second is new and unknown and if we are slow enough, mindful enough and awake enough to sense the gentle whispers of the world around us, we can be present to a whole new dimension.
We are here as Stewards of Creation, in positions of Trusted Guardianship, to bring heaven to earth, and there is something deep inside of us all that yearns for connection, belonging and fulfilment.
And so we must look deeper within, peering beneath and piercing through the veil, for the ultimate purpose of touching the stars and becoming one of them.
Courage & Boldness
We must go to the places that scare us, where we will discover that our fears are nothing more than paper tigers that once faced, have no hold over us.
The enemy sows confusion, distraction, lies and fear, all of which are an illusion as he has no real power, which is why its essential to go forward, even if we are quaking in our boots.
Whilst what lies beneath may be raw, painful and sore, there is also beauty, brilliance and bountiful joy to behold.
Every single one of us has something of value to offer, we were each designed for a particular purpose and there is no-one else on the planet with our exact combination of passion, talents and experience, giving us a unique signature, offering and fingerprint.
The power of one is enormous, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and our deepest fear is exactly what we need to conquer in order to return to love.
Our Deepest Fear
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel unsure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Lean In
You are invited to lean in, to reach inwards and pull out the song of your inheritance.
Let go of your fear, guilt, shame, regret, worries, nerves and false feeling of safety in the shallow end, let go of the side and swim, for your life and the lives of others depends on it.
Start from where you are and begin to create the life of your dreams, build strong connections and boldly go where no-one has gone before, there is a path with your name on it, take it.
Develop resilience and find the strength to bounce back from trauma and setbacks by living in the present rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
Learn to see challenging situations as just that, extinguish the fear by learning how to stand in faith, do what you love, what is right and what no-one else can or will and watch at how beautifully your life and the lives of those around you blossom.
You Are The Light of The World
You are perfectly imperfect, more powerful than you realise and more beautiful than you know.
You are the light of the world.
A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)
The Joy of Rescue
I have found so much joy in animal rescue, an unexpected consequence that echoed outwards as each precious soul reached deep into mine and left their mark.
My intention has always been to give unconditionally to those in need, all of whom only had me, and had I said no or looked away, this would have meant certain death or contuining in their suffering.
As I have heard so often before, whereas I thought that I was saving them, they actually saved me, and we saved each other, in a symbiotic relationship of mutual upliftment.
Through giving, I found meaning, purpose and deep fulfilment, reaching parts of myself that lay dormant yet aching to be seen, heard, felt and experienced, and dying yet aching to be born, enabling me to weave a unique tapestry, fuelled by and in partnership with the Holy Spirit, in support of something greater.
I have found that for every animal I've saved, I've rescued at least one person through restoring their faith in humanity, and this touch has rippled across the globe causing us to have friends, followers and funding that we could never have dreamed of, as we return to love, together.
Creation Has Been Groaning
The creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
The whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Not only so, but we ourselves groan inwardly. (Romans 8:19-23)
Let us reach deep within, striving ever upwards and aligning ourselves with the mind of Christ, that we may become all that we are destined to be, as servants of God, in service to His glorious and wondrous creation.

Financial support is critical as rescuing animals is expensive with so many costs including vets, food, staff, utilities, building materials, boarding fees to name but a few of the myriad aspects.
Other ways to support are through joining groups and sharing our posts to raise awareness, engaging, educating yourself, donating your time, expertise and resources and edging ever closer towards the beautiful creation that surrounds us.
