Prophetic Revelation - 28th October, 2025
All of my blogs are birthed through my lived experience of battling through challenges every day, boots on the ground.
I document every aspect in order to share the journey with others, to motivate, uplift and inspire, and to educate people on the challenges that those in animal rescue face.
On this day, I made a conscious decision to renew my mind and I realised that there was a daily truth that I needed to tell myself in order to achieve the gargantuan feat ahead.
As I sat propped up against my pillow in bed, inspired by a YouTube video I was watching about God's grace, I started to challenge the thoughts in my head, seeing them for what they really were.
And I realised that I had given the devil a foothold, more than that, I had allowed him to live in my head, rent-free, taking up space, killing my days and destroying God's plans for me, and I booted him out.
God's Voice
Having taken authority, I was able to separate fact from fiction, in order to determine the truth from the lie, which set me free. (John 8:32)
The enemy's lies hold us captive through deception, and we cannot give him a foothold, because he comes only to steal, kill and destroy. (John 10:10)
He lies about our ability, our position and our worth, he tells us we are entitled to things and he disrespects, distorts and disavows everything in our midst, this is why we must demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
It's easy to tell when the enemy is speaking as he is puffed up and prideful, arrogant and antagonising, rude and resentful, brutish and boastful, sabotaging and spiteful.
God is the opposite, He is a gentleman, a wise counsellor and considerate, righteous and respectful and perfect in all His ways, He disciplines us because He loves us, with a rod of correction, and He is there in every capacity we need.
A Great Work
As I sat, God spoke to me and I listened.
He told me He is doing a great work through me, He is birthing a nation, a nation committed to truth.
Of course, that makes me public enemy number one to the devil, who is trying everything possible to sabotage my efforts and stop me from shepherding God's sheep - both the animals and the people.
We have to learn how the enemy works, including how he gets in, how to silence him, how to fight against him and how to send him away, and this is an ongoing practice as we refine ourselves and draw closer to God.
This requires us to lean in deeper, get serious and stand on God's promises and on Him, the Rock on which we can depend.
The Landscape Has Changed
Once we understand that without God we are nothing, this is the beginning of wisdom.
I realised many years ago that my old ways no longer work in the new landscape that everyone is faced with, and this humbled me.
Everything I had, everything I was able to do and everything I had achieved, was because of God's grace, and that all of my talents and abilities came from Him, none of them were mine, they were all gifts.
It's as though God has stopped the flow of blessings because we don't understand the source of where they come from, and in our arrogance, we thought it was all us, when all along, it was all Him.
In the new landscape, we are being forced to course correct and God is showing Himself by taking away everything that is not Him, to make it abundantly clear.
Standing On God's Word
As I align out of choice and also necessity, I am seeing God's hand, and it is undeniable.
But, there is no other option, but to stand in faith, trusting Him to lead and having to get into the water first, before the Red Sea parts, as a result of our obedience.
In dreams, in revelations and in promptings of the Holy Spirit, we instinctively know what to do, with God often delivering at the eleventh hour, and many times, when it seems as though nothing is happening, there is a lot that is germinating under the surface.
God told me that He is sending His people to help me, mighty men and women of valour, honour and substance, I receive them with open arms, and they too will be nourished.
We must meditate on God's truth, His promises and His Word, as, just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is His Word that goes out from His mouth: it will not return to Him empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
God Loves Us
God loves us and He loves His creation.
God will provide, faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)
The LORD Himself goes before us and will be with us; He will never leave us nor forsake us. We must not be afraid or discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We are anointed and appointed in specific seasons for specific purposes, for we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good work, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
God is working through us and we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
Nothing Is Impossible
Nothing is impossible for God, what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived - the things God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
There is no end to what God can do, He continuously blows my mind, and that's why I stand so firmly on Him, He has never disappointed me or let me down.
He can touch people's hearts, change them from stone to flesh and enable us to draw nourishment from a rock.
These are not myths, they are actual accounts, and when we live the Word, and it unfolds within us and before us, we begin to be a living example of the truth, which only those with eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand, can perceive.
God can do anything, in an instant, there are no limits, but we have to be in it to win it, we have to not quit, we have to go the extra mile, we have to do the right thing, we have to stand even if that means standing alone, and above all, we have to let God lead, and follow.
Fighting The Good Fight
We must fight the good fight, using the weapons that are at our disposal and knowing that no weapon forged against us will prevail, and we will refute every tongue that accuses us. (Isaiah 54:17)
We are to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, remembering that it's His power not ours, and that He goes before us.
We must put on the full armour of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil's schemes - truth, righteousness peace, faith, salvation, the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and prayer.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
To the uninitiated, this doesn't seem like anything tangible, which is why deep study and practice is needed, God is REAL and so too is the enemy, but God is greater and the battle has already been won.
Renewing Our Mind
We are not to conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Then we will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)
We must seek His guidance, we must align our mind with the truth of who God is and who we are in Him and we must know His voice.
We must fill our mind with the truth, feasting on the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)
And as we rest in clarity, courage and strength, feeding our faith not our fears, surrendering to His will not ours and allowing His peace to fill us, we are anchored in God's presence and sustained by His Word.
